Well here we go. Yesterday afternoon the brown sharks invaded the surf and the casino fishing pier. In the early part of the day the sharks were actually pushing schools of bunker around. Once the bunker moved out bunker heads seemed to be catching them better then just a body chunk. Oddly the bite seemed to be better during the day then after dark. There were also some monster size southern and cow nose rays willing to bust off your expensive tackle. Mark and I fished the manasquan river yesterday and even with the tide not in our favor we still managed 40 fluke and 5 keepers. Bucktails and gulp got it done. On the crabbing side, things seem to be so so but if you put your time in you can put a catch together. Scott
