Fishing in the surf has been steady for this time of year with the usual cast of players. King fish seem to have the leading role with small blues next in line, the rest of the cast are fluke and several species of sharks. Cut bait is your ticket to this production with small metals mixed in. The bay seems to be putting on it’s own show with a slightly larger cast. Small weakfish, spot, blow fish, and small black drum along with snapper blues round off their cast. Again small cut baits and small metals will do the trick. The crabbing both from our dock and boats still remain a working game with patience and time spent paying some dividends. John Yac
