Blood worms, clams and small jigs are doing the trick on the spring run striped bass in the bay. The shorts still outnumber the keepers but the action is steady. The west side of the bay seems to be better while the east side is holding it’s own. The fisherman are counting the days till winter flounder season anticipating some nice size flat-ties. The shop hours remain 7 AM – 2PM this coming weekend and many in store specials are still available…John Yac
