Island Beach State Park is finally open 24-7 for fishing! The bite continues to be the same bass and blues on cut bait and clams, but now some nice keeper bass are being taken on artificial baits from swimming plugs to rubber jigs. The back bay action seems to be running hot and cold with bluefish and bass being taken on cut bunker and metal. Fluke season opens Saturday the 18th, (5) fish 17 1/2″ is your limit. We carry a full line of fresh and frozen baits.along with sand worms and possible live killies by Saturday or shortly there after. John Yac
