Things are still looking good but with a twist though! Nice bass are being cought daily both on bait and artificials, The bait of choice seems to be clams while the lure of choice seems to be any sand eel style teaser fished ahead of a ava or a swimming plug. Oh yes the twist, weakfish, yes weakfish in the surf not a ton but a few keepers never the less. On that front we have one of the all time favorite live baits for weakies,sand worms. The way to fish them is on a fish-finder float rig with a 2/0 – 3/0 bait holder hook and the lightest weight sinker required to just hold bottom, also no bass could pass up a well presented sand worm eighter!
