Rain rain go away! It should be out of here by mid day or at least so they say. Meanwhile bass and blue fish control the surf bite, these fish are being taken on cut bunker and clams for the most part. Poppers, swimmers and metals will work if bait is not your thing. The back bay has come alive with small to medium size blues. Small poppers and metals are accounting for the largest catches from the boats and are also producing from the beaches and docks. It was a nice sight to see some keeper crabs come up in the pots yesterday, not a whole bunch but a nice sign that things are about to pop…. John Yac
