The blue fish and fluke have center stage along our beaches while some nice keeper bass pulse in and out of the mix. Cut bunker and clams remain the number one and two baits for the blues and bass and every now and then a nice size fluke will fall to a well presented bunker chunk. Buck tail jigs tipped with gulp or squid is the go to rig in the surf for fluke. The bay still has small blues taking poppers and metals and the boats are picking some nice fluke down by the BB and BI. Crabbing is improving daily along our docks and bulkheads… John Yac
