After a pretty productive spring run is seems we are getting into the summer hit or miss days in the surf. Fluke continue to put bends in anglers rods while blues and bass seem to be dropping off in our area. The bay still has a pick of small to medium size blues and fluke in the usual spots. Cut baits and clams still is the way to go in the surf, while small poppers, buck tail jigs and swimmers will sometimes produce in both areas. The crabbing is slow from our dock and rental boats, definitely not a early season blitz as we experienced last year… John Yac
