Well the summer crowds are finely gone and the Labor Day weekend is now in our rear view mirror. The weather this week will make you feel like it’s the middle of summer, but it’s time to put in some serious thinking and preparation for the fall fishing that’s just around the corner. The fluke fishing in the surf is holding up just fine, they seem to like the warmer weather, while the cocktail blues are harder to find. Still a few sharks and rays at night but all this will change in the blink of an eye as we start to getting through September. Crabbing is slowing down now and it’s becoming harder and harder to put a decent catch together…. John Yac
