You can add some slammer blues to the list of big boys hitting the beach. Blue fish in the 10 lb plus range were mixed in with the bass chasing those schools of bunker yesterday. The majority of action has been on bunker and the snag and drop method is still your best bet when possible. But showing up at the beach with fresh bunker just in case you can’t snag one is a smart move. Large poppers and swimming plugs should not be overlooked for these are tried and true lures to use when large bass and blues are on the prowl…. John Yac
