Fluke off to a slow start while blues and bass keep the heat on! Between boats trolling and kayaks snagging and dropping nice size bass are consistently finding there way to the local scales. Mix in medium to large size blues and bass falling to well presented baits and lures from the sand and you have a nice spring run underway. The fluke are slow in starting but that should change shortly. The bay is still giving up some nice blues from the docks and rental boats. Yesterday two of our regular customers took a 4 hour cruse on one of our rental boats and came back with 11 blues weighing up to 11.5 lbs. Crabbing from the dock is slow getting started but with the warmer temperatures forecasted for the up coming next few days thing should pick up… John Yac
