It will also cut down on the fair weather fisherman leaving more open space for you the hard core angler. Bottle plugs, darters, heavy metals and 3 oz. plus buck tails will shine in these conditions. As far as bait fishing goes, 6 oz. to 8 oz. and at times even higher will be needed to keep the bait in front of you. Fluke season will end Sept. 26th, so you still have a shot at a nice size flatty.
