You have a small window to get some surf fishing in before things get a bit hairy. There is plenty of mullet out there and you know where there is bait there is fish. Point Pleasant Beach area has been having a steady pick of small bass during the night tides on swimmers and live eels. Closer to home small blues and the occasional small bass are in and out of the surf. Cut mullet and metals along with swimming plugs, when casting one is possible, is the way to go. Blowfish have increased in size some and keeper crabs are still being taken… John Yac
