North west winds today should bring better surf conditions. Things are starting to clean up after the latest NE blow. Keeper bass were being taken yesterday in IBSP on clams and cut bunker. Holding bottom with bait proved to be a bit challenging but not impossible. I gave it a shot yesterday myself just to see what was up and I pulled a keeper out on a bunker chunk. Were still a bit early and the main body of fish has not arrived yet. Don’t be lazy and wait for your buddy to call, get out there and check things out for yourself.
