The hot bite award yesterday has to go to the blue claw crab! Catches of 2 to 3 dozen plus nice keepers was the norm for those venturing out on our dock. If crab sauce or steamed crabs or both are on your mind come on down. Fishing brought a mixed bag of fish yesterday with blues, bass, black drum and fluke all being taken by shore bound anglers. The boats a still beating up on the bass with trolling large bunker spoons and snag and drop methods accounting for fish up to 40 plus lbs…. John Yac
