The bite goes on! Yesterday was another good day in the surf. Keeper bass were being taken from Lavellette to IBSP. The schools of bunker remain on the move with hungry striped bass in hot pursuit. Rubber swim baits and SP style swimmers remain the number one choice of artificial lures. Poppers, metal lipped swimmers, darters and wide profile metals are also some good choices if the conditions allow. Cut bunker and clams will always be the fresh bait of choice. We have some nice live eels just to switch things up a bit… John Yac
