Rain Gear Day! >> Mild air temperatures with rain on tap for us today so rain gear is a must when you head out. The bite has slowed quite a bit in the passed couple of days with first light and dusk being the prime times. Mid day tides have become hit and miss but in any case artificial lures have been out fishing bait. Poppers, swimmers and metals are still the way to go but a good idea would be to start adding teasers to your swimming and metal presentations. Fisherman have been finding sand eels in the stomachs of the bass being cleaned so a thin long teaser is the way to go. Not into plugging? Cut fresh bunker and clams remain tried and true baits for this time of the year… John Yac
