Well yesterday brought some nice bass and blues to the local scales. Bass mostly in the 10# class were taking clams from Ortley Beach to the north thru Island Beach State Park to the south. Bluefish were also in the mix but cut bunker was the answer for them. Fluke are still being picked in the surf, the trick is to keep moving till you find the fish. Crabbing is finely taking a up turn one of our rental boats returned with a nice catch of 30 nice keepers to 6″. The dock is still a work in progress thou… John Yac
