We find ourselves in the summer surf fishing mode now, wow did that come fast! Small to medium size blues mostly on cut baits, bass mostly shorts with the occasional keeper taking clams. Fluke this time of year is the number one target in the surf. The best method to score on these tasty fish is bucktails tipped with gulp or squid. The non game fish this time of year consists of rays and dogfish, the latter if bled, gutted and filleted asap makes a surprisingly good tasting table fare.
