More tolerable weather forecasted for the weekend should make surf fishing more attractive. It’s hard to get a good report on what’s happening with so few anglers. But just going by the time of year, fluke and small blues should be the one two punch right now during the daylight hours with shark fishing during the night tides. For those dyed in the wool bass hounds, night tides during July and even into the first week of August has seen some large bass on cut bunker. Crabbing remains good and more and more snappers are showing up daily… John Yac
