Along with the usual fishing reports for this time of year, blues, fluke, rays, kingfish, and sharks on the night tides there are always those catches that go unreported. Just a couple to mention, there was a 9.5 lb. blue taken on a chunk of bunker at the end of our dirt road Monday afternoon and a 34 lb. striped bass, yes striped bass taken on salted clams in IBSP Monday evening. Catches like these often go unreported all season long, so it’s just a matter of being consistent and don’t sit home waiting for the phone to ring! Snapper blues are all over the back bay while the crabbing remains consistent… John Yac
