Weather only getting better from here on this week! Improving air temperatures and humidity levels coupled with more favorable wind directions spells good surf fishing conditions. Snappers of all sizes are running our shore lines. Aside from some light tackle fun, live lining these great baits just may land you a nice large fluke from the surf. Your chances increase the closer you get to the inlet in IBSP, which is a great food conveyer for hungry fish just outside the inlet. Remember this fluke fishery comes to a hault September 5th this year. Crabbing remains slow out back, with still plenty of snappers around… John Yac
