Slammer blues raided our dock yesterday, they arrived around sunset and were in the 7 to 12 lb. range. Cut baits were doing the trick on these fish. There is plenty of bait around in the bay. The mullet run has not started out front yet. But larger blues and some small bass are starting to hang around the inlets awaiting the up coming smorgasbord. Crabbing is less than slow right now but we are hoping for one more good push before it’s all over… John Yac
