Yesterday’s outstanding weather brought with it a little better surf bite. Snapper blues to larger size slammer class fish seem to increase in numbers yesterday. The lion’s share of fish are still being taken on cut baits, and in that mix we heard of a few short bass also being taken. No real mullet run to talk of yet in our area, just a few popping up here and there. There are still blues in the bay but crabbing is horrible…. John Yac
