Not much has changed since my last report. I wish the fishing was as good as the weather, but that’s not the case. A few small bass have been reported out front on bait, in IBSP, around the area of the inlet. Small bass are also showing up in increasing numbers in the back bay. We have had several taken right from our dock in the past couple of days. The population of large bluefish is still roaming the bay, and still taking mostly cut baits. Crabbing is showing a swing in the right direction with increasing numbers of keepers being taken. We’re hoping this trend will only get better the further into the fall season we get… John Yac
