Warm weather or good fishing?? That is the question! My vote is for the latter! The unseasonably warm temperatures we have been experiencing lately may be stretching the summer season for some but not the surf angler. Water temps need to drop, bait fish need to school up and migrate which will put migrating bass and blues on the feed and hopefully within casting range. Small local bass chasing small swimmers by dark and taking clams by day. Mix in cocktail blues on small metals and cut baits. Just to keep you on your toes the occasional slammer blue will put quite a bend in your rod. This sums up the surf scene right now… John Yac
