Batten down the hatches today! Strong winds out of the south, with rain mixed in later, will make fishing today uncomfortable to say the least. Bass and small blues are still chasing bait when available out front. The bay is holding small bass around the bridges and some large bluefish are still present, although that bite has slowed down plenty. On the brighter side once this front passes tonight the rest of the week and through the weekend looks great, a little too warm for my taste, but great fishing conditions never the less. We have now added frozen mackerel to our large list of frozen baits. On the live bait scene, we have LIVE EELS, GREEN CRABS, and SAND WORMS for your fishing pleasure…John Yac
