The surf guys had some action yesterday when a nice school of bait moved in within casting range and brought a few quality fish in tow! This action was in the Ortley Lavallette beach areas. The bigger fish were taken on large poppers but SP minnows, metals, and swim shads all were hooking up. Herring also moved in yesterday in the IBSP area. these larger baits may also draw in some larger bass… John Yac
