Like I have been saying, there are still a few keeper bass around for those of us who don’t want to put the rods away just yet. SP minnows by far will out fish any swimming plugs in it’s class, especially in our area for some unexplained reason. Second choice would be a swim shad followed by a wider profile metal. Bait is bait, cut bunker and clams will always be the one two punch in that department. Live eels are walking the line between artificial lures and natural baits, fished both live and rigged with both ways being deadly on big bass in the right locations and at the right times… John Yac
