We had a nice keeper bass hit our scale yesterday afternoon. Allen Moglia weighed in a 33″ 16lb bass, taken on a chunk of bunker in the Ortley Beach area. There is still a lot of shorts out there, but more and more keepers each day are being taken. SP minnows, clams and cut bunker are still the baits of choice. Blues are starting to show in the mix but no great numbers as of yet to report. The bay has been quiet out back… John Yac
