The south winds of yesterday, known for poor surf fishing turned out to be good luck to a couple of anglers willing to put in their time. Two nice keeper bass, 18 lbs. and 28 lbs. fell to cut bunker out front. The bite in the bay is about the same, bluefish and small bass on bait and lures are being taken now and then. Crabbing has yet to start out back, but our boats are in and ready to go! We got a bunch of Van Staal reels and hats in yesterday with with more to come… John Yac
