Fishing Report

The surf bite on cut bait yesterday in IBSP was on the up tic for sure. Several nice keeper bass were taken on cut bunker and a few anglers were reporting more then one keeper landed. Fluke fishing in the surf remains good from Lavallette thru IBSP. Bucktails tipped with gulp seem to be the bait of choice for these tasty flatties. The area called the sedges behind IBSP and a bit south of there are also producing nice size fluke. The bay behind us remains a pick of small blues with the occasional short bass and short fluke mixed in, and still no crabs to speak of… John Yac
