Well no more crazy bass action out back yesterday! It was business as usual, weeding through a bunch of short crabs to put a decent size catch together. Small snapper blues are still around. The beach is producing some nice 1 to 3 lb. blues along with a few keeper fluke. The blues are taking cut mullet, and small chunks of bunker, while small metals and small poppers will also do the trick. The fluke are hitting killie squid combos in the natural bait department while bucktail gulp combos still seems to be the top producing method for these flatties. We heard about some blow fish being taken in the area of the BB buoy, for those who don’t know where that is its located, it’s just off Forked River in Barnegat Bay. We have clam chum logs and all the salted clams you need!… John Yac
