If your not fishing first and last light in the surf right now your missing out on 90% of the action! The mullet run seems to be slowing, with the size of the blues being taken right now shrinking daily. There is still small to the occasional keeper size bass both out front and back in the bay. This bite seems to be only in the magic times of the day, first and last light and into dark. We need some cooler weather and the larger bait schools that are off shore right now to move in closer to the beach. Remember it’s still early in our area for the fall bass and bluefish run!… John Yac
