Things were heating up nicely yesterday with short to keeper size bass taking everything from cut bunker and clams to thin medals, swimmers and rubber shads. The bite was spread out from Lavallette to the north thru IBSP to the south. Not everyone was hooked up but several anglers were in the right place at the right time and enjoyed some nice bass action. More and more reports of sand eels in the wash are coming in, which is something we haven’t had for some time and will spell bass into December in our area. If you haven’t started fishing yet, what are you waiting for??… John Yac
