There was some good action in the surf yesterday from Seaside Park right through IBSP. Small bass up to 26″ made up the bulk of the action, but the occasional keeper was also mixed in. Metal with teasers out front took first prize in lure selection, while SP minnows also scored but was a distant second. Taking up the rear was rubber sand eel imitations fished on a jig or in the teaser position. The west winds in the forecast for today should make the surf comfortable to fish… John Yac
