Outstanding bite in our area yesterday of short to the occasional keeper bass in the surf. These fish were taking just about anything resembling a sand eel. One of our customers reported a record day, 34 fish including two 28 inch plus fish, all were released. His hot lure was a SavageAR sand eel that the bass just couldn’t pass up.
