Fishing Report

Welcome October! The stage is set for the long awaited “Fall Run”, with bait continuing to poor out of the inlets and run the beaches. Along with the steady supply of small to medium blues, more and more “just” short bass are finding their way into the action. These bass are taking Polaris style poppers, SP style minnows and rubber paddle tails all in sizes to match the available bait. If striped bass is your main target, concentrate your efforts on first light, last light and the dark of night to increase you chances of hooking up. There is still some keeper crabs being taken out back off our dock, not a ton, but some nice ones never the less… John Yac
