Surf fishing in our area has slowed down a bit! But bass, blues, and black drum can still be picked on clams and cut bunker by those willing to put in some time. The lack of bait and cool water temperatures are to blame for the slower bite right now. Fluke fishing in the bay is a hit or miss situation also, with the BB and BI buoys to our south and the Mantoloking Bridge to our north being two good locations to try. Crabbing in our area has not yet started but that could to change with the warming air temperatures.
