Surf is still a little slow, water temps are on the rise and once again small fluke are in the surf. I scouted IBSP yesterday to see first hand what if anything was going on. The water was a lot warmer and after checking out some good looking spots along the surf I managed to land (2) 16″ fluke on gulp, the rig was simple, a 3-way swivel with about a 28” snelled wide gap hook. The sinker was just heavy enough to move with the currents, and the gulp was a white 4″ swimming mullet. There was some small bait present but couldn’t tell what they were.
