Fishing Report

Rain is one thing but lightning is a No No! Rain gear will keep you dry for the most part but nothing protects you from mother nature but common sense. Keep your rods in the buggy and stay off the beaches till all sigs of lightning is gone. There has been cases where anglers sitting in their buggy’s waiting for the storm to pass have been struck by lightning, so why take the chance? No fish no matter how big is worth your life or the life of a loved one or friend! Strong NE winds turning NW tomorrow will have the surf churned up so big sticks, heavy sinkers and clams will be your best bet. Heavy metals and bottle plugs are a great alternative if you don’t want to bait fish…. John Yac
