The attack of the slammer blues goes on at the Dock!! Yesterday was more of the same, with the wind in your face and slammer blues topping 14 lbs. Fish were being picked all day but the real hot action was late afternoon into early evening. Cut bunker on the bottom is the number one choice for these ravenous blue fish. Casting large poppers is quite a chore with these relentless winds and heavy metals is really your best bet if you don’t fish bait. Never the less cut bunker is the way to go! The ocean side remains slow with some small short bass and the occasional keeper. Big blues are still running the inlet if you catch it right and buck tails with any type of dressing will work… John Yac
