Crabbing remains very good despite the full moon Monday. Some very good catches are being put together. A few dozen per person is about the average now. Some guys from the shop ran down to the bb buoy yesterday afternoon to give fluking a try. They did manage to put half a dozen fish over the side but no keepers. They seemed to do the best with just a plain simple fluke rig made with light leader and a live killie. The guys did have some cocktail blues as well. As far as bass fishing goes from the surf fish are being caught! We aren’t seeing the big 20-40lb fish come off the surf much this year but plenty of keepers to 20lbs are being taken. And still it seems like there’s no one fishing. You can’t catch them from the couch. 2 bit road seemed to be pretty good the last few days. Also plenty of weakfish are being caught at berkley island park in the mornings and evenings on live grass shrimp. Scott
