A mixed bag is available right now in the surf, bass, blues, fluke, and black drum being the main cast. But the ever pesky dog fish and rays seem to be always present. Bait is still the way to go. Cut bunker and clams are your one two punch followed by squid and mullet. The key to any success in all surf fishing is putting in your time, reading the beaches and fishing the tides. Crabbing out back in the bay is starting. Renting one of our boats will allow you the freedom to move from spot to spot till you find them, where as crabbing off our dock is more of a waiting game.
