LOCAL’S SUMMER BEGINS!! Time has come when us locals get our beaches and favorite fishing spots back, not that they are empty but being closed out of places is over! The fall run will be starting before you know it, so make sure your gear is up to the challenge. Re-spool, check guides and tips on your rods and make sure your reels are in top form. Don’t forget to sharpen all your hooks and replace missing lures in your surf bag. The fishing scene in the surf at present is, small blues and fluke with an occasional showing of albies, spanish mackerel and bonitos. The bay has snapper blues, spot and blowfish with a slow pick of blue claw crabs this rounds up what is happening out back.
