Happy 4th of July weekend! Number one on the list is to stay safe and enjoy yourself. The beach is still giving up some fluke and blues by day and some sand tigers and browns by night. The bay still has some top water bluefish action and some pretty decent fluking at the BB and BI buoys, the inlet areas are also good spots to seek out some of these tasty flatties. Crabbing in the Good Luck Point area of the bay is hot right now while the docks and bulkheads are also producing well. Yesterday's winds kept a lot of anglers close to home. The bay was too rough for our rental boats to go out but the crabbers on the dock did well. Crabbing in the hottest ticket right now. Nice catches of 5 plus inch crabs are being taken both from our rental boats and off our dock. Surf fishing has become a waiting game for the bait fisherman while bucktailing for fluke is a cover as much ground as you can to find the fish game.
