Happy 4th of July weekend! Number one on the list is to stay safe and enjoy yourself. The beach is still giving up some fluke and blues by day and some sand tigers and browns by night. The bay still has some top water bluefish action and some pretty decent fluking at the BB and BI buoys, the inlet areas are also good spots to seek out some of these tasty flatties. Crabbing in the Good Luck Point area of the bay is hot right now while the docks and bulkheads are also producing well. We have live killies and sand worms along with our large selection of fresh and frozen baits... John Yac

Yesterday's winds kept a lot of anglers close to home. The bay was too rough for our rental boats to go out but the crabbers on the dock did well. Today will look a lot like yesterday just with higher heat and humidity. Fluke fishing in the surf along with small to medium blues remain a pick... John Yac

The surf is giving up some nice fluke and some medium size blues to those willing to put in some effort. The bay behind IBSP is still seeing some top water action with 2 to 3 plus lb. blues. Crabbing is good from our rental boats and off our dock... John Yac

Crabbing in the hottest ticket right now. Nice catches of 5 plus inch crabs are being taken both from our rental boats and off our dock. Surf fishing has become a waiting game for the bait fisherman while bucktailing for fluke is a cover as much ground as you can to find the fish game. The night time shark bite is slowly improving with some sand tigers and browns showing their faces... John Yac

The early weather forecast looking not so good, but hopefully will improve as the day progresses. Some fluke on bucktail gulp combos and some small blues on cut baits paints the surf picture right now. Crabbing in the bay continues to improve... John Yac
