Another great day in the books! The bass were spread out from Bay Head to the north thru IBSP. Pods of bunker seemed to be everywhere and where they were so were the fish. Rubber swim shads in all sizes and colors plus snag and drop were the hot methods yesterday. SP style minnows, metals and poppers will all also work. Today should be another good day with plenty of bait around and great weather, catch them up!! ... John Yac

Happy Thanksgiving !! All the staff at The Dock whish all our loyal customers and friends a very Happy Thanksgiving. Fishing in the surf has slowed down a bit from the feverish pace of early in the week. It's a matter of finding the bait in close and you'll be into fish. Stick with your poppers, swimmers and rubber swim shad baits for these are what's producing in the artificial department. Cut bunker remains the number one fresh bait, but it doesn't hurt to drown a few clams either... John Yac HOLIDAY SPECIALS are here again!! Another great day in the books. The fish were a little more concentrated yesterday but when you found them you were in. IBSP was the hot spot yesterday both mid day and again after dark. Once again just about anything you tossed worked but rubber swim shads were the hot item of the day. The bait of choice remains cut bunker and be prepared to snag both peanuts and adult bunker when the conditions are right... John Yac THANKSGIVING DAY >>> Shop Hours will be 5:00 AM till 12:00 noon.

EPIC DAY!! >> Is the only way to describe yesterday's surf bite. Large schools of bait were pinned to the shore line by jumbo blues and keeper bass. This action was going on from Manasquan Inlet to IBSP. If you didn't fish yesterday you missed one of the hottest surf fishing days in recent memory. Snag and drop with full size and peanut size bunker was doing the trick on the bait side. Large pencil and polaris style poppers along with SP style swimmers and rubber swim baits all were hooking up yesterday. If today turns out to be only half as good as yesterday it will still go down as one you will be talking about for a while... John Yac

The surf bite is on! Yesterday's catches in the surf supports that statement. Double digit weighing blues along with nice mid size keeper bass were crashing a variety of artificial lures being thrown at them. All types of poppers, SP style swimmers, buck tails and rubber swim shads were all catching. Cut bunker also accounted for a couple of nice bass. The bulk of the action was from Seaside Hights thru IBSP... John Yac
