Fishing Report

The annoyingly slow bass bite continues. First and last light seems to be the hot times lately with the lion's share of fish being taken on bait. There is still plenty of bait out front, just don't know where all the fish are. By no means should you stop throwing artificial lures, you know how things turn on a dime this time of year!... Things may be a slow pic right now but a few quality fish are still popping up here and there. IBSP had a few on cut bunker yesterday while on the night tides just north of there swimming plugs accounted for a few more fish. Fresh bunker and clams along with live eels and green crabs are all in stock. Remember things should break loose again, so don't sit at home waiting for that phone call, get out there and make your own reports!... John Yac

All quiet on the western front! The outstanding bite of last Sunday and Monday only goes to show how good the fall run can be, so lets not loose faith, that was only a sample of things to come. A couple of fish from both beach and boat is all we have to report over the last couple of days... John Yac

Well what a let down from the previous three days in the surf. The boat guys had to move off to hook some fish but in that bite there were some slammer blues and that's always good to hear. As far as the surf goes, it's back to a slow pick for now but that could change in a heart beat as it usually does this time of year. Remember guys we have live eels and green crabs... John Yac
