The bite yesterday in our area was hot once again! Large bass and blues fell to cut bunker and clams. On the artificial side, swimmers, poppers, metals and rubber swim shads all were taking fish. With the wet weather forecasted for tomorrow todays bite could be another good one! One more thing you might want to add to your bag of tricks is a rod rigged for snagging peanut bunker. To say the bass fishing this fall has been fantastic, is putting it mildly. The passed couple of days proved to be banner days for boat and beach fisherman alike. Cur bunker and clams are still the go to baits with clams starting to take the lead in this kicked up surf. Today veterans day is a time to reflect upon the sacrifices made by our past and present military, for not for them and their service we would not be able to enjoy the freedoms we have in this country. One the fishing front. Yesterday proved to be a hot day in our area, teen size blues mixed in with keeper bass kept many anglers busy. The lion share of the fish were taken on SP minnows and large popping plugs.
