If you are looking for a day to go fishing or crabbing this is the one! Light winds, good water conditions, and a mid 80 degree forecast gives you all you need for a great day at the beach. But make sure you have a fishing pole with you so you can try for some of those tasty fluke. Small blues and a occasional small bass are also being taken. Two great weather day's forecasted in a row! Today and tomorrow should be great beach days for fishing and crabbing. Reports have been coming in slow the last few days due to the bad weather conditions. Fluke fishing should pick right back up and night time brown sharks find it hard to pass up a meal. Crabbing has been steady through this crazy weather, no real blitz but a good mix of keeper crabs coming from our dock and rental boats. Blow fish and snapper blues are on the rise for those giving them a try. The shop has plenty of fresh bunker, fresh clams, live kellies and sand worms along with a large selection of frozen baits... We are well into the summer fishing mode now where fishing and crabbing becomes a matter of just picking your day, finding your favorite spot, and giving it your best try. In the surf there are fluke small blues and blowfish by day, with brown sharks and always the possibility of that elusive striped bass coming by during the night tides.
